Effective date: 4 October 2026

Developer and data controller: Perfekt Alarm Bt., 2200 Monor, Kossuth Lajos utca 153., Hungary · hello@workdialer.com
App: WorkDialer (package name: com.workdialer.app)

In short

WorkDialer has no server of its own and no user account. The app sends nothing from your call log and no personal data to us or to any third party. It uses the internet only for Google Play purchases. It contains no advertising and no analytics.

The app

What the app accesses and why

DataPurpose
Call log (read, write)To show your calls in the app’s History tab and match each caller with the job booked in your calendar. The app deletes a call log entry only when you ask it to.
Contacts (read, write)To show caller names, to search contacts, and to add the job address to a contact when you close a job and confirm it.
Calendar (read, write)To read and write your jobs and notes in your own Google Calendar.
Phone state and phone numbersTo place and manage calls, including on dual-SIM devices.
Default phone app role, answering callsTo act as your phone app and show its own in-call screen.
NotificationsTo show incoming calls.
Internet accessOnly for Google Play purchases and checking the subscription. Nothing from your call log, contacts or calendar is sent.

Where the data stays

All data stays on your device, and in your own Google Calendar and contacts, which the app uses through Android. We have no access to them. App settings are stored only on the device, are removed when you uninstall the app, and are excluded from cloud backup.

Services provided by your phone, not by the app

  • Voice dictation uses your phone’s built-in speech recognition service, which is operated under its provider’s own terms (for example Google or your phone’s manufacturer). WorkDialer itself does not make or store audio recordings and does not request microphone permission; it only receives the finished text.
  • Text messages: the app can open your phone’s messaging app with a pre-filled text; you decide whether to send it. The app cannot send messages itself.
  • Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Google Play (purchase, renewal, cancellation and restoration). We do not see your payment details.

Children

WorkDialer is intended for professionals, not for anyone under 18.

The website (workdialer.com)

  • The website uses no cookies, no advertising and no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties – even the fonts come from our own server. The one exception is the demo video: the YouTube player loads (from youtube-nocookie.com) only when you click the play button. From then on, Google’s (YouTube’s) privacy terms apply to it.
  • The site uses your IP address to decide which language to open in: your country's language if the site is available in it, otherwise English. It does this with a public address list (RIPE NCC) stored on our server – no third-party service – and your IP address is not stored for this purpose.
  • If you pick a language yourself, your browser remembers it locally (localStorage). This never reaches us and can be cleared in your browser at any time.
  • Like every web server, our hosting provider’s server logs requests for security and troubleshooting (IP address, time, requested address, browser type). The hosting provider keeps these logs for a limited time; we do not use them to identify visitors. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Hosting provider: RackForest Zrt., Hungary.
  • If you write to hello@workdialer.com, we use your email address and message only to reply, and we do not pass them on.

Your rights

The app does not send your personal data to us: you can view, correct or delete it yourself on your device and in your Google account. For emails you have sent us, you can request access, correction or deletion. For any question, write to hello@workdialer.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, www.naih.hu) or with the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
